NFL Rumors: Kansas City Chiefs Star Looking For A Huge Value Extension
The Kansas City Chiefs have built one of the best teams in the entire NFL over the past five years, and while the majority of the attention goes to Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and this elite offence, the defence has stepped up in big moments for years now.
The leader of that defence is All-Pro defensive tackle Chris Jones, and after being a big part of not one but two Super Bowl victories, it appears that he's finally ready to get paid in a big way, and he reportedly has a target price in mind.
While it's highly unlikely that anyone gets near Aaron Donald's $32 million per year contract, Jones wants to become 'at least' the second highest paid at his position, which is currently Titans Jeffery Simmons at $23.5 million per year, and it's safe to say that whenever Jones does get paid, he will get paid more than that.Update: #Chiefs Pro-Bowl DT Chris Jones wants to become "at least" the 2nd highest paid player at his position.
