NFL Rumors: Ex-49ers Jauan Jennings Linked to AFC Team

Jauan Jennings is among the most notable free agents who are still looking for their next contract. When noting that the 28-year-old is a solid wide receiver coming off a strong 2025 season, it should not take him too much longer to land his next deal.

Jennings appeared in 15 games during this past season with the San Francisco 49ers, where he had a career-high nine touchdowns. He also had 55 receptions and 643 receiving yards on the season, so it was a solid year for the five-year veteran.

Now, with April here, Jennings is being linked to a team in the AFC.

In a recent article for Bleacher Report, Kristopher Knox predicted that the Tennessee Titans will be the team that ends up signing Jennings during this offseason.

"Jennings is a very sensible option for the Tennessee Titans, who employ former 49ers defensive coordinator Robert Saleh as their head coach. Tennessee needs to improve the supporting cast around second-year quarterback Cam Ward. Jennings would be a great perimeter addition," Knox wrote.

When taking a look at the Titans' roster, there is no question that they could use a wide receiver like Jennings on their roster. If they landed him, he would give them another solid weapon to work with on their offense. This would not be a bad thing in the slightest for the Titans.

In 75 career NFL games over five seasons, Jennings has recorded 22 touchdowns, 210 receptions, and 2,581 receiving yards.
