The Green Bay Packers have made a notable move. The Packers have signed wide receiver Jayden Reed to a three-year, $50.25 million contract. The deal also comes with a guaranteed $20 million.
This is certainly a solid move for the Packers, as Reed is a key part of their offense. Now, with this contract extension, he will be staying in Green Bay for the time being and for multiple more years.
Reed was limited to only seven games during this past season with the Packers, where he had one touchdown, 19 receptions, and 207 receiving yards. This was after he had six touchdowns, 857 receiving yards, and 55 receptions during the 2024 season with the Packers.
As a rookie with the Packers during the 2023 campaign, Reed recorded career highs with eight touchdowns and 64 receptions. He also had 793 receiving yards in 16 games for the Packers during the 2023 season.
Reed will now be looking to put together a big season for the Packers in 2026 after landing this nice payday. It will be interesting to see how he performs after getting his contract extension from here.
