A Pair of Legends Join Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame

Two former greats were honored last night by one of the league's most storied franchises. The Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame enshrined pass rusher Tim Harris and wide receiver Greg Jennings Thursday night at the team's 51st Annual Hall of Fame Induction Banquet:

Harris played for the Packers from 1986 to 1990, tallying 55 sacks across his five seasons. He notched a team-record 19.5 in 1989 during an All-Pro season, narrowly falling short of leading the league due to Chris Doleman's startling 21. He was a bright spot in an otherwise forgettable era for the Packers, who only managed a single winning season during his tenure.

Jennings was a star across two distinct eras for the Packers, bridging the gap from Hall of Fame quarterback Brett Favre to four-time MVP Aaron Rodgers. He played for the Packers from 2006 to 2012, catching 425 passes for 6537 yards and 53 touchdowns. He was the leading receiver for the team's most recent Super Bowl-winning squad in 2010, compiling 1265 yards and 12 touchdowns in the regular season before adding another crucial 303 yards and two touchdowns in the postseason.

Harris and Jennings join a hallowed pantheon of greats for a Packers franchise that has won four Super Bowls and an astounding 13 total championships since its founding in 1921. Though neither is likely to find a place in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, enshrinement in the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame provides a wonderful opportunity for fans to reflect on two great careers.
