Titans Rule Out Six Players Ahead Of Week 5

The Tennessee Titans had a rough start to the 2022 NFL season, but with back-to-back wins over the Las Vegas Raiders and Indianapolis Colts, it feels like they're building some solid momentum on the back of this defence and Derrick Henry, and with a matchup against the Washington Commanders looming, there's a very good chance they can push their record to 3-2 through five weeks. Unfortunately, if they are to take down the Commanders, they'll have to do so without several key players, as head coach Mike Vrabel today announced that no less than six players will be missing for the Week 5 matchup.

Bud Dupree, Amani Hooker, Zach Cunningham, Treylon Burks, Joe Jones and Ola Adenine will all be missing for the game, and given that all of these players play key roles in different spots along the team, it's tough to see them getting through the game without being severely affected.

The Commanders haven't been great in 2022, and at full health, the Titans should defeat a team like this, but with so many players out, this becomes one of the more intriguing games of the week. Tennessee have the potential to be a great team if they can get their offence rolling, and without Burks, they'll need to find a consistent target, but if that happens, this could be a good team going forward.
