Positive Update On Dolphins Tackle

The Dolphins cruised to a victory over the last placed Houston Texans in Week 12, pushing them to first place in the AFC East, but unfortunately, the biggest news coming out of the game for Miami was the injury that cost tackle Terron Armstead the second half of this game.

Miami later confirmed that this was a pec injury, which didn't sound good for the remainder of his season, but following the game, NFL Insider Ian Rapoport gave a very positive update on the veteran left tackle. It originally sounded like a potential season ender, but the update is that while he will certainly miss some time, there's a very good chance he will be back for the Dolphins playoff push in the coming weeks.

The former third-round pick has spent his career with the New Orleans Saints and now the Dolphins, and has been nominated to the Pro Bowl three times, while being a second-team All-Pro, and if Miami can get him back well before the playoffs, this is a team that will be tough to beat down the stretch.
