Injury Update On Jaguars Quarterback

No one thought he was going to return to the game after suffering a scary-looking tackle.

Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson said that quarterback Trevor Lawrence will undergo an MRI on his left foot, but he is trending in the right direction.

Lawrence took a hard hit on the final play of the first half, bending his left leg and ankle very awkwardly, but he was able to go to the locker room under his own power and was back to start the second half.

At this point, the MRI seems to be precautionary, but, regardless, the results will give us some clarity on the 2021 first-overall pick's status moving forward.

In 12 games this season, the twenty-three-year-old has thrown for 2,834 passing yards, 17 touchdowns and six interceptions. He's posted a 65.6 completion percentage.
