Bears Sign DT Billings

The Chicago Bears have agreed to terms on a contract with defensive tackle Andrew Billlings, per his agency SportsTrust Advisors.

Billings, who was the former fourth round selection by the Bengals in 2016, spent three seasons with Cincinnati before signing with the Browns in 2020. He chose to opt-out of the 2020 season entirely due to the Covid-19 pandemic on August 4, 2020 and was waived by Cleveland on November 13, 2021.

The former Baylor product spent time on the Dolphins and Chiefs practice squad before signing a deal with the Raiders in February 2022. He will now travel to Chicago, and officially join his third team of his career.

Last season for the Raiders Billings started 14/14 games, combined for 39 tackles, completed 1.0 sacks, and three quarterback hits.
