NFL Rumors: Dallas Cowboys Visit With Free Agent Linebacker

Travin Howard, a 26-year-old linebacker who has spent his entire career with the Los Angeles Rams, is exploring his options as a free agent and may not return to the team next season.

He has scheduled a visit with the Dallas Cowboys on Monday, as reported by Michael Gehlken from The Dallas Morning News.

Although Howard has only started two of the 29 games he has played in, he could potentially provide depth to the Cowboys' linebacker corps while fitting within their salary cap constraints.

It's worth noting, however, that he only appeared in one game last season.

Despite his limited playing time, Howard's performance in the playoffs last season showcased his potential. He started in two postseason games and even recorded a game-clinching interception in the NFC title game against the San Francisco 49ers.

Overall, Howard's visit to the Cowboys indicates that the team is exploring options to bolster its defense, and his experience in the playoffs could make him an attractive option for Dallas.
