NFL Trade Rumors: Top 5 Trade Targets Ahead Of Training Camp
Kristopher Knox of Bleacher Report put together an updated trade big board, highlighting five players who could be on the move based on contract status, positional depth, and team needs.
1. Jalen Ramsey (CB, Dolphins)
The Miami Dolphins are actively looking to move cornerback Jalen Ramsey, and there’s no shortage of interest. While his elite days may be behind him, the 30-year-old still put up strong coverage numbers in 2024. Ramsey has reportedly drawn calls from multiple teams, with the Los Angeles Rams and Chargers emerging as top landing spots. A return to L.A., where he won a Super Bowl, remains on the table if financial obstacles are worked out.

2. Trey Hendrickson (EDGE, Bengals)
Hendrickson wants out of Cincinnati, and while talks have resumed, no deal has been reached. The Bengals are playing hardball with trade demands, despite the 30-year-old posting 17.5 sacks in back-to-back seasons. If Cincinnati lowers its price, expect contenders like the Indianapolis Colts and Detroit Lions, both in need of edge help, to come calling fast.
3. Cole Kmet (TE, Bears)
After drafting Colston Loveland in the first round, the Chicago Bears may be ready to move on from Cole Kmet, despite his three-year contract extension. Kmet is still productive and would be a valuable addition to a contender’s tight end room. The Chargers and Kansas City Chiefs are logical suitors, with Kansas City potentially eyeing Kmet as Travis Kelce’s eventual successor.

4. Kayvon Thibodeaux (EDGE, Giants)
Thibodeaux may become expendable in New York after the Giants added Brian Burns and drafted Abdul Carter third overall. Trading the 2022 first-rounder could save nearly $15 million in future cap space. Both the New England Patriots and Green Bay Packers need pass rushers and would be wise to check in if the Giants make Thibodeaux available.
5. Kyle Pitts (TE, Falcons)
Once seen as a generational tight end prospect, Pitts has been relegated to a supporting role in Atlanta’s offense. Now, with the Atlanta Falcons tight on cap space and fielding offers, Pitts could be had for the right price. The Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers are logical fits, especially with former Falcons head coach Arthur Smith now running Pittsburgh’s offense.
