Ravens Sign Super Bowl Winning Pass Rusher

The Baltimore Ravens have been dealing with a plethora of injuries thus far this off-season, but still, remain 1-1 after two very good games, the second of which they unfortunately lost in a shootout to the Miami Dolphins. In order to help the defence, the team has hosted former Giants and Buccaneers pass rusher, Jason Pierre-Paul, and today, Paul told the media he would be joining the Ravens immediately.

This isn't the blockbuster move it would have been several years ago, but JPP still has plenty in the tank, as he ended the 2020 season with 9.5 sacks, and added 2.5 more a year ago with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The two-time Super Bowl Champion and former All-Pro has racked up 91.5 sacks throughout his career, and now joins a defensive line with fellow veteran Calais Campbell, as this defence looks to play it's part in the success of the Baltimore Ravens. There were other contenders interested in JPP, but after several visits with Baltimore, the move just made sense, and it thrusts the veteran into a division race that is heating up early in the season, and will be a marathon for 17 weeks.
