Broncos Linebacker To Miss Several Weeks With Injury

The Denver Broncos may look like a lost team right now, as they've fallen to 2-5 on the year with another brutal loss, but it's safe to say that this defensive unit is one of, if not the best in the entire league, but during their Week 7 loss to the New York Jets, a key piece on this team suffered an injury, which will likely cause him to miss several weeks of action. Baron Browning suffered a hip injury during the game, and while there's been no definite timeline placed on his return, it's expected that he will miss several weeks, which will be a brutal blow to this incredible defensive unit.

The 23-year old has played in every game so far in 2022 for the Broncos, contributing 11 tackles, 2.5 sacks, 2 passes defended and his first career interception, and while they've still got their biggest names available, this hurts the depth of the team going forward as they look to fight back in the AFC West.

With the QB play being the way it is, this team certainly has a ceiling in 2022 unless it can be improved upon in a major way, and with another loss to this fantastic defensive unit, there's only so long they can hold them in games before this entire franchise falls apart in 2022.
