Jets Receiver Officially Returns To Practice

Despite their amazing 5-2 start to the 2022 season, the New York Jets and their fans have been through an emotional rollercoaster over the past few weeks, from a dominant win at Lambeau Field, to a trade request from a disgruntled receiver, to a bittersweet win on the road in Denver where they lost two of their most talented offensive players for the season due to injury.

Now, after all that, the team has to focus on Sunday at home against the New England Patriots, as they look to get to 6-2 before a potential heavyweight showdown against the division leading Buffalo Bills in Week 9 before they head to a bye. In a good piece of news, the young receiver who asked for said trade, Elijah Moore, has today returned to practice, and after dapping up offensive coordinator Mike LaFluer, he looked to be in good spirits, and given the way Coach Robert Saleh and the organization has handled the drama, it's clear that they want him to be a big part of this team going forward.

Only time will tell if and how all of this can be rectified, but with the loss of Breece Hall and a potential Corey Davis absence, Moore has a chance to step up and prove to this team why they should keep him around for the long haul. Right now, all appears good at Florham Park, but the Jets have to be careful with the game plan against the rival Patriots, because if this team can continue their team first mentality while also getting Moore involved, they could continue their red-hot start to the 2022 season.
