Carolina Panthers Activate All-Pro Kick Returner

In the NFL, not every player has to be a superstar to contribute while still having a successful career, and sometimes that leads to players bouncing from team to team while still being effective, and that's certainly a great way to return wide receiver/return man Andre Roberts, who in 2022 has found himself with the Carolina Panthers. 

The 34-year old was drafted in the third round back in 2010, and over that time playing with nine different teams, he's racked up 3,079 receiving yards and 15 Touchdowns to go along with over 8,000 return yards and 6 more Touchdowns, and today, the team has activated him ahead of the NFC South defining Week 17 battle with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Panthers as expected elevated cornerback Josh Norman from the practice squad to the 53-man roster for Sunday’s showdown at Tampa Bay. They also activated kick returner Andre Roberts from IR.

With Sam Darnold playing well and protecting the ball with an incredible run game, this is a team that could surprise a few teams late in the season, and with another weapon like Roberts, this team has a great chance against Tampa Bay in Week 17.
