Cowboys Edge Rusher Involved In Car Crash; Will Not Play Week 16

He won't play in Week 16.

Dallas Cowboys edge rusher Sam Williams was involved in a car accident ''not far from the team's practice facility.'' He was briefly treated at the hospital before being released.

Williams suffered a concussion and neck strain in the accident but, thankfully, nothing more.

The twenty-three-year-old rookie has recorded 20 total tackles, three sacks, one forced fumble, three fumble recoveries and one pass defended across 13 games this season.

Williams was the 56th overall pick of the 2022 NFL Draft. He has been a solid part of the Cowboys' rotation on the defensive line this season.
