NFL Rumors: Contender Out Of Odell Beckham Jr. Sweepstakes

The Dallas Cowboys made a notable addition on Sunday (March 19), as they acquired Brandin Cooks from the Houston Texans. With this move, the Cowboys have now improved at the wide receiver position, but it also likely means that they are no longer going to pursue Odell Beckham Jr, according to ESPN's Ed Werder.

The Cowboys have been linked to Beckham Jr. since last season, but his torn ACL injury resulted in him missing the entire year. However, once free agency began, the Cowboys once again became one of the teams in the mix for his services. Yet, with this report from Werder, it is now unlikely that OBJ will be a Cowboy this season.

Although Beckham Jr. may have lost a suitor, there are still several teams considering the prospect of signing him. Teams with a confirmed interest in him include the Baltimore Ravens, New York Giants, New York Jets, Green Bay Packers, and Kansas City Chiefs. We will now need to wait and see where the star receiver ends up signing from here.
