NFL Rumors: 3 Players Who Could Be Next To Request A Trade
According to Alex Kay of Bleacher Report, three players to watch closely are Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill, Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs, and Cleveland Browns quarterback Kenny Pickett.
Tyreek Hill’s Uncertain Future in Miami
Hill’s 2024 season ended on a sour note, with public frustration following Miami’s playoff miss. While he’s since apologized and pledged loyalty to quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, an oblique injury has kept him out of training camp and raised questions about his role in the Dolphins’ offense.
With his production dipping and rival teams monitoring his availability, Hill could be tempted to seek a fresh start, especially if his targets decline after years of being one of the league’s most heavily used receivers.

Romeo Doubs Facing Crowded Packers Depth Chart
In Green Bay, Doubs enters the final year of his rookie deal in a loaded receiver room now featuring rookies Matthew Golden and Savion Williams. The 25-year-old has been productive when healthy, but injuries, last season’s suspension over practice absences, and the Packers’ surplus of pass-catchers could lead him to push for a move where he can be a clear starter.
Even after a recent scare with a back injury in practice, Doubs says he’s fine, meaning he’ll have a chance to boost his value, whether for the Packers or a new team.
Something is just different about Romeo Doubs this summer. He’s always been capable of creating separation, but his top-end speed has reached a new level. Feels like there’s a new clip every day of him getting behind the secondary. pic.twitter.com/hCXH3N8NzW

Kenny Pickett Sliding Down Browns QB Depth Chart
Pickett’s arrival in Cleveland came with hopes of competing for a starting role, but Joe Flacco’s signing and Shedeur Sanders’ rapid preseason rise have pushed him toward third-string status. A lingering hamstring injury has cost him valuable reps, and with rookie Dillon Gabriel returning to health, Pickett is running out of chances.
For the 2022 first-rounder, a trade might be the best way to revive his career, especially with quarterback injuries creating openings around the league.
