NFL Rumors: DeAndre Hopkins Reveals What Team He Wants To Play For Next

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins celebrates during 2025 game.

DeAndre Hopkins is making it pretty clear where he would love to land next.

On Kay Adams’ Up & Adams, the 33-year-old wideout said, “Me and Josh Allen could do some damage for sure,” then doubled down by calling himself “quarterback proof” and hinting that pairing with the Buffalo Bills star could unlock another gear late in his career.

Hopkins is pitching the Bills because Josh Allen fits the vision

Buffalo has been hunting for more dependable juice at receiver, and Hopkins is basically volunteering as a veteran plug in who understands what January football looks like.

Even if he is not the same weekly takeover player he once was, the resume is pretty hard to ignore: 1,006 career catches, 13,295 receiving yards, 85 touchdowns, plus three First Team All Pro selections from 2017 to 2019 and five Pro Bowls.

And Hopkins knows exactly how to sell it, too. He pointed to his production with Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis as proof he can still produce without perfect conditions, then basically said give him Josh Allen and let’s see what happens.

What Hopkins still brings to Buffalo even in a smaller role

Hopkins is coming off a quieter season with the Baltimore Ravens, finishing with 22 receptions for 330 yards and two touchdowns.

If Buffalo’s room leans heavily on players like Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman, Curtis Samuel, and Joshua Palmer, adding Hopkins would be about situational wins, third downs, red zone nuance, and having another smart, physical target who has seen every coverage imaginable.

If the Bills are swinging bigger in free agency or the draft, Hopkins can still make sense as the veteran layer that steadies things, especially because he is openly buying into the idea of catching passes from Allen.

If Hopkins wants the spotlight again, it gets messy fast, but if he wants the ring chase and a defined role, Buffalo is exactly the kind of team he was talking about.
