NFL Rumors: Steelers Could Potentially Trade No. 32 Overall Pick

As Day Two of the 2023 NFL Draft is ready to commence on Friday, the Pittsburgh Steelers have the first selection in the second round (No. 32 overall), but they are reportedly considering multiple trade offers for their pick, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Although no teams were indicated by name, it is possible that club's who still require a skill position player such as quarterback's Will Levis and/or Hendon Hooker could look to move up from the Pittsburgh's pick.

Notre Dame's TE Michael Mayer, Penn State's CB Joey Porter Jr., and Alabama's S Brian Branch are also top prospects still available on the board who were all viable first round selections on numerous 2023 mock drafts.

The Steelers acquired their second-round selection in the Chase Claypool trade with the Chicago Bears last season. They also have five picks remaining in this year's draft if they decide to keep their 32nd pick, which includes the 49th, 80th, 120th, 241st, and 251st overall picks.

Pittsburgh used their first-round No. 17th overall pick on Thursday to draft offensive tackle Broderick Jones, the now former Bulldogs product, who helped lead Georgia to their reigning back-to-back College Football Playoff National Championship victories.
