Aaron Donald Reveals He "Hated" This One NFL Player For Years
Aaron Donald, the former star defensive tackle for the Los Angeles Rams, recently opened up about his deep resentment toward Tom Brady following the Rams' 13-3 loss to the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LIII.
Appearing on "The Pivot Podcast," Donald admitted that the loss left him heartbroken and bitter. "That broke my heart, I ain't gonna lie," he confessed. "I hated Tom Brady for like three years... I was mad!"
The defeat was particularly painful for Donald because he had promised his daughter they would celebrate on the field together if the Rams won. Seeing her cry after the game reportedly made him feel as though he had let her down.
Aaron Donald is one of the greatest football players of all time, but his career wasn’t perfect. He promised his daughter they would play in the winning confetti after they beat the @Patriots in the 2018-19 Super Bowl!

Despite the Rams' strong defensive performance, the offense struggled, resulting in the lowest-scoring Super Bowl in history.
Brady's crucial fourth-quarter drive secured his sixth Super Bowl victory, adding to Donald's frustration. This loss fueled Donald's determination to never experience such disappointment again, and led the Rams to make aggressive moves, including trading for quarterback Matthew Stafford, which ultimately paid off.
Three years later, Donald and the Rams achieved redemption by winning Super Bowl LVI against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Ironically, their journey to the championship required overcoming Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the divisional round of the playoffs.
Capping off his illustrious career with a Lombardi Trophy, Donald retired as one of the most decorated defensive players in NFL history.
