Bills Rule Out Linebacker for Week 11

The Buffalo Bills are facing several obstacles ahead of their Week 11 matchup with the Cleveland Browns, including an injury to their defensive leader. The team announced Tremaine Edmunds will miss Sunday's showdown at Detroit's Ford Field.
Edmunds exited in the first half of the Bills' heartbreaking 33-30 overtime loss to the Minnesota Vikings with groin and heel injuries. He had played every single defensive snap over the Bills' previous five games.

Edmunds' unavailability is yet another complication in a tumultuous week for the Bills. The team cancelled practice on Friday as a result of the snowstorm that also forced a preemptive move to Detroit for Sunday's home game against the Browns. Edmunds is the team's second-leading tackler and sports an impressive 83.2 overall grade from Pro Football Focus.

At 6-3, the Bills are third in the AFC East due to the surprising feistiness of the Miami Dolphins and New York Jets. They can't afford a hiccup this week against the Browns without risking their long-term chances at the division. Thankfully, Bills fans can comfort themselves with memories of the last time they played a home game in Detroit; the Bills dominated the New York Jets 38-3 in 2014 when a snowstorm forced them to relocate to Ford Field.
