NFL Rumors: Dolphins Receiving Trade Calls On Tyreek Hill

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill runs off the field during 2025 game.

The Miami Dolphins may have stumbled out of the gate with a 33-8 Week 1 loss to the Indianapolis Colts, but they aren’t ready to part with Tyreek Hill.

According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, Miami has already received trade calls on their All-Pro receiver, yet the front office has shown no interest in moving him.

Chiefs Reunion Speculation Not Gaining Traction

Naturally, speculation has pointed toward a potential reunion between Hill and the Kansas City Chiefs. With Rashee Rice suspended and rookie Xavier Worthy battling a shoulder injury, the fit seems obvious.

Fowler even called it “low-hanging fruit,” but noted that there are no active discussions. Despite frustrations spilling over last year, including Hill’s public comments about wanting out, the Dolphins have held firm.

Miami Holding Course — For Now

Hill’s production dipped in 2024 after wrist surgery, though he still remains one of the NFL’s most explosive weapons. Miami is trying to stabilize after missing the playoffs last season, and head coach Mike McDaniel and GM Chris Grier are already under pressure.

While insiders believe a trade could become realistic if the Dolphins’ struggles continue toward the Nov. 4 deadline, for now, Hill remains locked in as their offensive centerpiece heading into a divisional clash with the New England Patriots.
