NFL Rumors: Top 3 Breece Hall Free Agency Landing Spots
The New York Jets have the money to keep him, and there’s real buzz they want to, but Hall’s market gets scary fast if negotiations drag or the franchise tag turns into a staring contest.
This season, on a brutal Jets team, the 24-year-old has rushed for 1,065 yards and four touchdowns. He's also added 36 receptions for 350 yards and one touchdown. It's his first 1,000 rushing yard season, and he's averaged 4.4 yards per carry.
Washington Commanders
Washington feels like the most straightforward fit in free agency because the offense needs a true difference maker at running back, and they have the financial room to do it.
Wanted to give a huge shoutout to Breece Hall

One of the only few bright spots in a dark season for the Jets…

If the Commanders want to build a week to week identity that travels, pairing Hall with their quarterback situation gives them a run game defenses actually have to fear, which makes the entire playbook easier. They also sit near the top of the league in projected cap space, so this would not have to be a one move offseason.
Seattle Seahawks or Denver Broncos
Seattle is the splashy option because it is a talent upgrade play, especially if their current backfield gets expensive or messy with uncertainty around Kenneth Walker Jr., and Hall’s pass game value fits what good offenses want from the position now.
Denver is the ready-made runway pick since the Broncos already have the type of line and structure that can keep a back efficient, and Hall brings more receiving juice than a lot of the alternatives teams talk themselves into. He could form a formidable running back duo with rookie RJ Harvey, who's been improving as this season has gone on.
Breece Hall deserves so much better than the Jets. He’s so dang talented. pic.twitter.com/wqKfjS3t8j

If Hall’s camp is truly hunting something in the $10 to $12 million range per year, both spots can justify it if they believe he is the missing piece.
