NFL Rumors: Derrick Henry Urging Ravens To Make Specific Trade
Derrick Henry isn’t whispering it behind the scenes.
He’s saying it on camera, right next to A.J. Brown, and he’s trying to get Baltimore to pick up the phone and try to make something happen.
During Super Bowl week appearances, Henry has publicly pushed the idea of Brown landing with the Baltimore Ravens, leaning hard on their old Tennessee connection and the “come get another ring” pitch aimed straight at a Philadelphia Eagles star who keeps coming up in trade chatter.
Derrick Henry’s recruiting turns into real trade smoke
On Kay Adams’ show, Henry flat-out said he’d “gladly love” to have Brown in Baltimore and pleaded for him to come over, framing Brown as the kind of tone-setting receiver Lamar Jackson would want.

“We would gladly love to have him…Come on over, please A.J., come to Baltimore, let’s go get this ring…Him and Zay, that’d be crazy. And then Bate, Mark, gotta get Likely back. We cooking” pic.twitter.com/cqSs2WLnP2
Brown’s name is already circulating, and the entire conversation shifts when a superstar player is being recruited this loudly by a marquee teammate on a contender.
Why A.J. Brown fits what Baltimore is missing
If the Ravens are going to swing big, Brown is still a true top-of-the-room wideout, and he’s coming off a 2025 season of 78 catches for 1,003 yards and seven touchdowns, which was considered a "down year" for him.

Baltimore has been hunting for more punch in the passing game next to its current core, and adding Brown would instantly change how defenses can play them.
Whether the Eagles actually entertain it is a whole different story, but Henry putting it in the public arena guarantees this rumor probably won't go away quietly.
