NFL Rumors: 2 Teams Interested in Tyreek Hill

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill reacts during 2025 game.

Where Tyreek Hill will land this offseason is becoming a very fascinating storyline.

After the Miami Dolphins released the eight-time Pro Bowl wide receiver during their roster overhaul, Hill hit free agency for the first time in his career.

Despite an injury-shortened 2025 campaign, he remains one of the most explosive playmakers available, and early buzz suggests the Los Angeles Chargers and Kansas City Chiefs have emerged as two teams with interest.

Chargers Could Reunite Tyreek Hill with Familiar Scheme

The Chargers are a natural landing spot, largely due to their offensive direction and roster needs.

With Keenan Allen potentially leaving in free agency and the team searching for another elite pass catcher to pair with Justin Herbert, Hill could immediately step into a major role in the passing game.

Even after missing most of the 2025 season due to a severe knee injury, Hill’s career speaks for itself.

The 32-year-old wideout led the NFL in receiving yards in 2023, and across his career, he has been one of the league’s most feared deep threats.

The Chargers already have young weapons like Ladd McConkey, who recorded 1,149 receiving yards as a rookie in 2024, but adding Hill would give Herbert the type of game-breaking receiver who can stretch defenses and transform an offense overnight.

Chiefs Reunion With Tyreek Hill Gaining Momentum

At the same time, a reunion with the Chiefs continues to gain traction.

Hill spent the first six seasons of his career in Kansas City, earning six Pro Bowl selections, three First-Team All-Pro honors, and helping the Chiefs win a Super Bowl while forming one of the NFL’s most dangerous connections with Patrick Mahomes.

With Hill now available, speculation about a return has intensified. Betting markets are even listing Kansas City as the favorites to sign him.

The Chiefs could be looking for another explosive weapon as they retool their offense, and Hill has already hinted at the possibility on social media. If he can return healthy, the idea of Hill lining up again with Mahomes would instantly give Kansas City one of the most dangerous passing attacks in the league once again.

While Hill’s recovery timeline from his knee injury remains a key factor, his market is clearly forming around two teams.
