Tennessee Titans Sign Four New Players

New England Patriots wide receiver K.J. Osborn reacts during 2024 game.

Robert Saleh's first offseason in Nashville started with a bang (Wan'Dale Robinson, John Franklin-Myers, a flurry of early free agency moves) and then went quiet for a while as the front office shifted its attention toward the draft.

Now, the Tennessee Titans announced four new signings in a single day, adding wide receiver KJ Osborn, running back Michael Carter, quarterback Hendon Hooker, and wide receiver Lance McCutcheon in a mid-week depth push that rounds out several positional rooms ahead of the April 23 draft.

The Titans hold the fourth overall pick and nine selections total.

Breaking Down the Titans' Four New Signings

Osborn is the most recognizable name of the group.

The fifth-round Vikings pick from 2020 averaged 53 catches and 615 yards per season from 2021 to 2023 before his production fell off sharply after leaving Minnesota, recording just seven catches in eight games split between the New England Patriots and Washington Commanders in 2024, followed by a 2025 spent bouncing between practice squads.

He's 27, he has functional experience in an NFL offense, and the Titans' receiver room still has enough uncertainty that a veteran presence behind Calvin Ridley and Robinson makes sense at minimum cost.

Carter reunites with Saleh, who was his head coach in New York when the Jets drafted him in the fourth round in 2021.

He hasn't been a featured back in years, but he carried the ball 92 times for 333 yards and a touchdown in 13 games with Arizona last season and profiles as a serviceable depth piece behind Tyjae Spears and Kalel Mullings.

Hooker is the most intriguing grab of the four on pure narrative grounds. He's a Tennessee native coming home, having spent time as a Detroit Lions third-round pick before stints with the Carolina Panthers and New York Jets

He's thrown just nine passes in his NFL career, but as a backup behind whoever wins the Titans' quarterback competition, it's a low-risk move with some local upside.

McCutcheon is a re-sign and a journeyman receiver who was with the Titans last season and provides reliable depth on the boundary.
